"A classified National Intelligence Estimate prepared for President Bush in late July spells out a dark assessment of prospects for Iraq, government officials said Wednesday.
The estimate outlines three possibilities for Iraq through the end of 2005, with the worst case being developments that could lead to civil war, the officials said. The most favorable outcome described is an Iraq whose stability would remain tenuous in political, economic and security terms."-NY Times.

BRITS ARE CUTTING TROOPS: WE ARE GETTING THE DRAFT
America please wake up. The Brits have and they
are removing troops starting next month:
"The British Army is to start pulling troops out of Iraq next month despite the deteriorating security situation in much of the country, The Observer has learnt.
That means there will be LESS soldiers their to maintain the peace! Bush MUST replace those troops with our own and that means DRAFT!
A vote for Bush is a
VOTE for the DRAFT!

I found a couple new blogs today.
It's called
Baghdad Burning.
Its written by a 24 year old girl who lives in Iraq. If you want the real deal unfiltered non-Fox Newsian spin on whats really going on in Iraq. Her blog is the place to go.
For the record she doesnt hate Americans. Here is a quote from post she did last year:
"I don’t hate Americans, contrary to what many people seem to believe. Not because I love Americans, but simply because I don’t hate Americans, like I don’t hate the French, Canadians, Brits, Saudis, Jordanians, Micronesians, etc. It’s that simple. I was brought up, like millions of Iraqis, to have pride in my own culture and nationality. At the same time, like millions of Iraqis, I was also brought up to respect other cultures, nations and religions. Iraqi people are inquisitive, by nature, and accepting of different values- as long as you do not try to impose those values and beliefs upon them"-

You should read the whole post. Its very moving. Its speaks of her frustration revolving around the insanity that is going on in her country. About American soldiers to scared to drink cool water offered to them by a friendly Iraqi. So they sip, piss warm, water that's been heating up in their canteen from the oppressive Iraqi heat. Real great post.
