FOX NEWS SANCTIONS TREASON
The boys at The Rat have a standing rule:
"If you work on FAUX NEWS, you're an asshole"
I know its simplistic and some may say childish but thats how we feel.
We need no further evidance of that then residance asshole John Gibson who said AND WE QUOTE:
"Give Karl Rove a Medal" for outing a CIA Operative.
So in other words, Fox News feels that anyone who outs a CIA agent, (the people literally on the forefront of the War on Terror,) should be given a medal when they comitted an act of treason.
Look we don't throw the a word like "treason" out lightly. We just happen to agree with former President George H.W. Bush who said:
"Even though I'm a tranquil guy now at this stage of my life, I have nothing but contempt and anger for those who betray the trust by exposing the name of our sources. They are, in my view, the most insidious of traitors." (Get used to this quote. Your gonna see it alot from us)
If its good enough for him, its good enough for us.
Oh and BY THE WAY. If outing Valerie Plame was not a national security threat then why did the president say if he found out who did it that he would FIRE THEM??? "Now wait just a goddamn minute Span! The President never said "FIRE", some Bush apologist will and ARE saying. True, he didn't say it but tell us what this means:
QUESTION: Given -- given recent developments in the CIA leak case, particularly Vice President Cheney's discussions with the investigators, do you still stand by what you said several months ago, a suggestion that it might be difficult to identify anybody who leaked the agent's name?
THE PRESIDENT: That's up to --
QUESTION: And, and, do you stand by your pledge to fire anyone found to have done so?
THE PRESIDENT: Yes. And that's up to the U.S. Attorney to find the facts.
See that? When asked will he stand by his pledge to fire anyone who narked on Valarie Plame the president said "YES".

"In his ‘story guidance’ to Matthew Cooper of Time, Rove did more damage to your safety than the most thumb-sucking liberal or guard at Abu Ghraib. He destroyed an intelligence asset like Valerie Plame merely to deflect criticism of a politician. We have all the damned politicians, of every stripe, that we need. The best of them isn’t worth half a Valerie Plame. And if the particular politician for whom Rove was deflecting, President Bush, is more than just all hat and no cattle on terrorism, he needs to banish Rove -- and loudly."-Keith Olbermann

KICK THAT NIGGA TO THE CURB
The boys at The Rat don't ask for much.
Chicks and beer. Thats about it.
Oh and one more thing.
A president who keeps his word.
Back in Sept, 2003 the president had this to say about leaks in his Administration:
Let me just say something about leaks in Washington. There are too many leaks of classified information in Washington. There's leaks at the executive branch; there's leaks in the legislative branch. There's just too many leaks. And if there is a leak out of my administration, I want to know who it is. And if the person has violated law, the person will be taken care of.
Yes! We like that! Sounds gangsta! As if the prez was gonna roll down Pennsylvania Ave and bust a cap in somebody's ass!
Well now we find out the person whose ass said cap should be busted in, is the President right hand man Karl Rove!
Is the President gonna be a man of his WORD (for once) and Kick that mutha fucka to the curb??
And we are not the only ones who feel this way. We quote that great liberal President George H. W. Bush, the president's daddy on how he feels about those who betray our nation ala Karl Rove:
Even though I'm a tranquil guy now at this stage of my life, I have nothing but contempt and anger for those who betray the trust by exposing the name of our sources. They are, in my view, the most insidious of traitors."
Damn! That some cold righteous shit! But on the Real, Bush's pop has a point and the president basically backed up his daddy with his statements on 9/03. SO what's up mister prez? Gonna be a true man of your word and fire that bitch ass Rove? Or Puss out cause your scared of what Karl might do? Time to man up!

GUARD MISSED ITS RECRUITMENT MARK, NO COMMENT FROM THE BUSH VOTER
The Army National Guard, a cornerstone of the U.S. force in Iraq, missed its recruiting goal for at least the ninth straight month in June and is nearly 19,000 soldiers below its authorized strength, military officials said Monday.
The Army Guard was seeking 5,032 new soldiers in June but signed up only 4,337, a 14 percent shortfall, according to statistics released Monday by the Pentagon. It is more than 10,000 soldiers behind its year-to-date goal of almost 45,000 recruits, and has missed its recruiting target during at least 17 of the last 18 months.
Which makes this little confrontation tragically funny:
In a prelude to Operation Yellow Elephant, he was "embedded" at the 2004 Republican National Convention to talk about Iraq. As you might guess there were a few Young Republicans on hand to represent the up and coming youth movement that is the future of the GOP. He asked one young attendee, Shedrick Gavin of the "Florida Republican Youth Majority", if he would go fight in the war. When he answered matter-of-factly, "Of course not", Rieckhoff asked him why not.
Video-WMP only-(cross-posted at Operation Yellow Elephant)
Gavin's response was, and this is as close to an exact quote as I could get with all of his stammering, "I mean I'm... I'm here! No, I'm a, I'm a re... I don't believe in killing. I, I, you know, I, I'm a son of a, son of a, son of a preacher so I don't... it says 'thou shalt not kill'
As our friend Ben says: The clip ends with Karl Rove cackling sinisterly while sitting at Sean Hannity's table in "Talk Show Row". 'Bout sums it up.
Yup, the cocksucker actually pulled out the "thou shall not kill" card and that is Judas Goat Karl Rove cackling about Young Republicans fleeing our nation in a time of need. Aint that some shit.

As many of you noticed, for the last couple weeks we been promoting an idea, that Gregor came up with called BANG YOUR POTS & PANS. In short all we ask is On July 15th, no matter where you be (e.g. 9pm Pacific, 10pm Mountain, 11pm Central, 12am Eastern) give a pal/family member/neighbor any old casserole and bang away for 15 minutes. We hope to repeat this every THIRD FRIDAY of the MONTH till our troops come home.
The whole idea and concept can be read in our header. So mark it on your calender gang 7/15, Bang yer pots and pans!

OPERATION YELLOW ELEPHANT HAS A SITE
The great blog, Jesus' General, started Operation Yellow Elephant a couple of weeks ago.
OYE if you don't know is to get Young Republicans (and other Bush voters) to do their patriotic duty, join the military and fight in a war they wanted.
The Rat quickly and proudly joined the OYE effort. Well now due to all the hard work OYE has grown from a small idea to a movment!
A movement that now has its own blog:

The fear mongers are out again.
Boy oh boy. The fear mongers in the Bush cult and their apologist are out in force today!
You see them already out on the propaganda News Networks (CNN, MSNBC and those bastards on FAUX News) screaming about the hate we saw inflicted on the innocent people in London.
The scumbags are already playing right into Al Quedas hands by telling Americans they need to be scared. Where is the inspiration? Where is the leadership? Where are they telling us all we have to fear is fear itself???
No. They are out in front exploiting this as much as they can. Take this asshole Brian Kilmeade on FAUX, he was BRAGGING about:
I think that works to our advantage, in the Western world's advantage, for people to experience something like this together, just 500 miles from where the attacks have happened.
What sort of rat fucker thinks that way???
Then later on his partner had this to say:
VARNEY: It puts the Number 1 issue right back on the front burner right at the point where all these world leaders are meeting. It takes global warming off the front burner. It takes African aid off the front burner. It sticks terrorism and the fight on the war on terror, right up front all over again.
KILMEADE: Yeah. Yeah baby! TERROR IS BACK WITH A VENGANCE!! YEAH HAWW!!! Time for FAUX News to score rating off American fears! YES!!!
Take a look at this motherless bastard, Brit Hume:
I mean, my first thought when I heard -- just on a personal basis, when I heard there had been this attack and I saw the futures this morning, which were really in the tank, I thought, "Hmmm, time to buy."
WOW! People are dying and he's thinking about buying pork bellies.
FAUX isn't the only ones doing this. I heard some skag on WABC radio talking about Bush being a war time President once again.
Then on Primetime on ABC they had Chicken Hawk George Pataki trying to alleviate the fears of Americans by pumpin up Americans fears.
My boy who I work with, is about as apolitical as a human being can get. HE has no horse in any race. He votes but I defy you to tell me who he votes for. But my boy today came up to me and said this about the media "They are doing the work for the terrorist". In other words, they want America to be scared.
