EXCUSE US IF WE DON'T CRY

The boys at The Rat are happy that there was not the widespread violence yesterday that many feared. Mind you in any other country 44 people murdered on their way to vote would be on the front page of every paper around the globe. It's considered a "good" day in Iraq, should tell you something. With that said, we're happy things went relatively smooth.

However, excuse us if we do not shed a tear of joy. Excuse us if we refuse to celebrate. Excuse us for not marveling over the election of a puppet Government who's master resides in the White House. Excuse us for not sipping the purple Kool Aid.

Democracy as many in the media were so quick to say, was NOT on the march. What we saw, yesterday, was theater of the absurd. A demonstration in futility. An act of courage for the Iraqi voter, a display of chicanery for the Bush cult.

To claim yesterday "election" was democracy is an insult to democracy itself. Or to paraphrase Henry Miller; a gob of spit in the eye of freedom.

Yes, the people did vote. Yes, the mere act of voting in Iraq is an act of bravery we rarely see anymore. Many of those citizens waited long hours, in lines that rivaled Ohio 2004, just to cast a vote, were sitting duck for the insurgents. The thought of that should bring any freedom loving American to tears. Especially those of us who honor and cherish that all votes should be counted! What the Iraqi people showed the world yesterday was undeniable courage. There heroism bring shame to Americans who sit on their asses on our election day.

The act by the Iraqi people was brave. Yet, their act was another abuse by the Bush cult. What was a noble exercise was perverted by the Bush cult for their own interests. The people did vote, but for whom? Candidates that represent the views of the Iraqi citizenry? Do you honestly think for a moment, with all the blood that has been spilled, with the financial cost our country has bore, that the Bush cult would allow the Iraqi people to select candidates of their own free will?

Dare they select candidates that would demand the immediate pull out of "coalition" forces? The return of control over their oil fields? Homey don't think so.

While we at The Rat have always questioned the intelligence of the cult leader we never under estimated his addiction to power and greed. The cult leader may not be the smartest man, in fact he may be the dumbest president in recorded history. Yet, he's no fool when it comes to manipulating the American people to interpret his addiction as a force instead of a dangerous vice that is leading our nation to ruin.

Yes, we are happy that the election in Iraq will give some in our country comfort. Some who swallow the swill that is dished out on FOX as "news". They will claim the election is a victory in the "war on terror." That's crap and they know it. They will claim that the election is yet another sign that peace and freedom is on its way. Just as the fall of Baghdad was a sign. Just as "mission accomplished" was a sign. The capture of Saddam was a sign. Just as the hundreds of tombstone placed for our fallen GI's and the mass graves for hundreds (if not thousands) of Iraqis since Bush's Top Gun act are signs.

The only victory yesterday, was for the Bush cult, over the American people.

QUOTE OF THE DAY

"There are 54 million people in Iraq. Over half of them are under the age of 15. Of the over 100,000 civilians dead in this war, then, over half of them are children. We are killing children. The children are our enemy. And we are defeating them.

"I'll tell you why I voted for George Bush," a friend of mine said. "I voted for George Bush because he had the courage to do what Al Gore and John Kerry would never have done."

I've been thinking about that one.

Osama Bin Laden is still alive. Sadam Hussein is still alive. Abu Musab al-Zarqawi is still alive. Baghdad, Mosul and Fallujah are burning. But my government has the courage to kill children or their parents. And I'm supposed to be impressed.

That's an unfair assessment, of course. A lot of young soldiers have died, too. A lot of weekend soldiers are maimed for life. A lot of our kids went into the military only to get a college education and are now shattered in soul by what they had to do to other bodies. "-Joan Chittister, OSB

NEW LINK

We added a new link on the blog called THANK YOU PATRIOT.

Its a site dedicated to voters rights. To thanking elected officials who have the courage to stand up against the Bush Cult and fight for our right to vote. THAT my friend is what spreading Democracy is about.

Not this farce in Iraq today, where they are electing more members to the puppet government that serves the Bush cult.

RIGHT WING HACK WEAK ASS EXCUSE

Right Wing plagerist hack Jeff Gannon gave this weak ass excuse on why he "liberally used verbiage" when he coppied and pasted his articles on Bush from White House talking points:

The Lefties are going bonkers over this posting at MMFA:  Hysteria!  Just for the record, all material in these articles come from White House PRESS RELEASES, (you know, those things that a PRESS OFFICE puts out for use by the PRESS) and speech transcripts that are attributed to and accurately reflect the position of the President.  In many cases I ha=-ve liberally used the verbiage provided on key aspects of the issue because it is the precise expression of where the White House stands - free of any "spin."  It's the ultimate in journalistic honesty - unvarnished and unfiltered.  If only others would be as forthcoming.

As Gregor would say "Nigga please!" Stop mutha fucker stop! You got busted.

What you did wasn't "liberal use of verbiage" you took exact quotes and used it in your article! You didn't indicate that it came from the White House you claimed it as your own slap nut! How hard is it to use quotation marks? How hard is it for you to tell us this is from The White House????

Plus what makes it worse, dumbass, is you criticize other journalist for doing the same exact thing!!!

Not only are you a dunce but a fucking hypocritical dunce....Stupid.

HAT TRICK!

A third "journalist" was busted as a paid whore for the Bush cult:

One day after President Bush ordered his Cabinet secretaries to stop hiring commentators to help promote administration initiatives, and one day after the second high-profile conservative pundit was found to be on the federal payroll, a third embarrassing hire has emerged. Salon has confirmed that Michael McManus, a marriage advocate whose syndicated column, "Ethics & Religion," appears in 50 newspapers, was hired as a subcontractor by the Department of Health and Human Services to foster a Bush-approved marriage initiative. McManus championed the plan in his columns without disclosing to readers he was being paid to help it succeed.

DAMN! We love it when we are right! One can only pray that this trail of deceit and propaganda will eventually lead to FOX NEWS.

Rat is already Posting odds on which right wing hack on Fox will get busted:
Alan Combs: 50-1

Sean Hannity: 2-5

Loofah Mitt O'Reilly: 1-500 (You bet 500 you win a dollar)

Oh and by the way according to Media Matters there might be a 4th "journalist" who if he was not paid, should be paying someone else, cause he wrote a couple stories for..ahem..I mean on Bush that look pretty much a copy and paste job sans the quotation marks. Oh and get this, the mutha actually has the stones to criticize journalist that he believes:

"work off of the talking points provided them from the opposition" (Democrats)

You cant make this shit up.

PULITZER PRIZE WINNER AGREES WITH THE RAT: THEY ARE A CULT

As you know we been calling the Bush Administration a cult for a long while. A cult of greed and evil:

I do not feel the rank and file Reps are evil or would tolerate this reprehensible behavior if they knew about it (Thank you Left wing media for again FAILING TO DO YOUR JOB)

But the point is the GOP leadership are not Americans. They are a cult that hate America. Yeah I know that's a harsh statement but how do you explain the blatantly lying, the smearing, the abuse of power. How do you explain the actions of Sinclair and how the GOP controlled FCC is just allowing this to happen? Its an illegal campaign contribution yet NOTHING is being done about it.

Yet if CBS broadcast Fahrenheit 9/11 there would be a congressional investigation.

This cult hates America.

They want to impose their views on America. They don't want to defeat our vision. They don't believe in fair play.

They want to defeat America.

Taking the votes out of the hands of Americans is not an American value.

Its evil.

Since our original post we added a new member: every single Bush voter.

When The Rat says something, people can laugh it off as the drunken ramblings of degenerates. Most of the time that's true.

However when a Legendary Pulitzer Prize winner happens to agree with The Rat maybe you people should pause and listen.

Pulitzer prize winner Seymour Hersh (and possible Rat Bastard) echoed the Rat recently on Democracy Now:

There's a lot of anxiety inside the -- you know, our professional military and our intelligence people. Many of them respect the Constitution and the Bill of Rights as much as anybody here, and individual freedom. So, they do -- there's a tremendous sense of fear. These are punitive people. One of the ways -- one of the things that you could say is, the amazing thing is we are been taken over basically by a cult, eight or nine neo-conservatives have somehow grabbed the government. Just how and why and how they did it so efficiently, will have to wait for much later historians and better documentation than we have now, but they managed to overcome the bureaucracy and the Congress, and the press, with the greatest of ease. It does say something about how fragile our Democracy is.

Scary.
